Етичні зобов’язання головного редактора Збірника
Дослідження за участю людей
Research involving humans
Articles describing research involving humans or the use of human biological materials or data shall meet the following requirements:
- Ethical approval: authors shall obtain approval from the institutional ethics committee of the institution that conducted the research. The protocol number and the meeting date shall be indicated in the article.
- Informed consent: the article shall clearly state that all the participants (or their legal representatives) gave their voluntary written consent for participation in the research and publication of the results.
- Anonymity: personal data (last names, document numbers, and unmasked facial photographs) shall not be published unless critically important for scientific purposes and unless specific consent has been obtained.
Research involving animals
Experiments on animals shall be conducted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Animals from Cruelty” and relevant EU Directives. The research shall meet the following requirements:
- Humane treatment: authors shall confirm that measures were taken to minimize animal suffering.
- Authorization: a reference shall be provided to approval by a bioethics committee authorizing the use of animals for the stated purposes.
Confidentiality and data protection
When working with personal data or confidential information, authors shall:
- Comply with the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Personal Data”.
- Ensure proper anonymization of the data sets submitted with the article.
By submitting an article to the Editorial Office, the authors automatically confirm that their research complied with all ethical standards and that all necessary approvals from ethics committees have been obtained.
The Editorial Office reserves the right to reject an article if reviewers or editors have reasonable doubts regarding the ethical nature of the procedures used, or if the authors fail to provide a copy of the relevant ethical approval upon request.
